Warrnambool is 270kms west of Melbourne and there are three main routes you can travel if you are coming from Melbourne.

Travelling to Warrnambool
... from Melbourne via the Princes Highway
The Princes Highway gets you to Warrnambool in around three hours from Melbourne’s CBD.

...from Melbourne via the Great Ocean Road
The Great Ocean Road follows the Southern Coastline to Warrnambool, offering some of the best views in the world. These include the villages of Airey's Inlet, Lorne and Lavers Hill and, closer to Warrnambool, Port Campbell and Peterborough. There's also the iconic 12 Apostles, in addition to other landmarks such as the Bay of Martyrs, The Grotto and London Bridge.

Allow 7.5 hours.

... from Melbourne via the Princes Highway’s Geelong bypass/Hamilton Highway
When travelling on the Geelong bypass, exit at the Hamilton Highway and turn right. Follow this highway to Mortlake. Travel through Mortlake until, on the western side of the town, you are directed to turn left towards Warrnambool. Follow the signs to Warrnambool. Allow around 3 hours.

...from Mount Gambier via the Princes Highway
Warrnambool is 189km from Mt Gambier, South Australia. The Princes Highway is the most ideal route.

Lady Bay Resort once you’re in Warrnambool...
Follow the signs to the Visitor Information Centre, which is located at the corner of Banyan and Merri Streets.

Pertobe Road is a continuation of Banyan Street. Drive through the cutting, down the hill, to see Lake Perrtobe Adventure Playground on the right. Follow this road until you reach a roundabout; Lady Bay Resort is located to the left of this roundabout.
